Egencia, the travel management technology platform, has announced its customers can now access American Express Meetings & Events (M&E) and Global Business Consulting (GBC) services following the acquisition of Egencia by American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) in November 2021. Egencia’s more than 9,000 customers around the world, said the announcement, will have access to Amex GBT services to enhance the performance of their travel and meetings programs, “which will increase ROI, reduce risk and maximize savings.” Mark Hollyhead, president of Egencia, said the company is delivering on its commitment to extend “the immense benefits of Amex GBT’s value, choice and experience to Egencia’s customers.” Adding these M&E and consulting solutions, he said, “is just one example of the value that Amex GBT brings to Egencia with tangible, real-world benefits that drive results for travelers, attendees and the overall business.”
