Egencia Adds Multiple Features to Global Business Travel Platform
New tools will offer hotel-traveler communication, packaged prices and duty of care aides >>

Egencia, the business travel division of Expedia, has announced three new features on its global business travel platform, designed to enhance customer experiences, business value and employee care. They are: Egencia Hotel Conversations, to enable seamless, two-way communication between business travelers and hotels at the touch of a finger; Egencia Air and Hotel packages, to offer a lower overall trip cost when business travelers select a packaged air and hotel deal; and Egencia Traveler Tracker to instantly allow travel managers to see where their employees are in the world and support travelers during unforeseen situations. Michael Gulmann, chief product officer, said that Hotel Conversations will “revolutionize” the way hoteliers and business travelers interact from the moment a booking is made. He said that conversations doubled over a period of months late last year when the feature was first deployed.
