CWT, the travel management platform, has joined Chief Executives for Corporate Purpose (CECP) to, according to an announcement, “augment the company’s plans to build long-term sustainable value and drive long-term business success through positive social impact.” Michelle McKinney Frymire, CWT’s CEO, said that with the additional opportunities afforded by being an affiliate of CECP, the company looks forward to accelerating and further enhancing its plans to be a best-in-class employer, provider and member of the local and global community. Daryl Brewster, CEO of CECP, said CWT believes being a good corporate citizen requires not only conductng business responsibly but also fostering the values of community engagement, philanthropy, integrity and leadership among all employees. CECP was founded in 1999 by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman. It is now a movement of more than 200 of the world’s largest companies that aim to transform their strategies by providing benchmarking and analysis, convenings, and strategy and communications in the areas of societal/community investment, employee engagement, environmental social governance/sustainable business, diversity equity inclusion, and telling the story.
