Cvent, Inc. has released its annual lists of the top cities for meetings and events worldwide. The lists, which were first compiled in 2012, are based on sourcing activity through the Cvent Supplier Network. Initially focused only on US destinations, the lists have been expanded to include six other regions of the world. Three new regions are highlighted this year: Caribbean and Latin America, Canada and Europe.

Following Orlando, the top US destinations for 2018 are Las Vegas, Chicago, San Diego and Atlanta.  Rounding out the top 10, Dallas, Nashville, New York, Washington and San Francisco. In Europe, London, Barcelona and Berlin top the list, while Asia Pacific is led by Singapore, Sydney and Bangkok.

Other leading destinations include Dubai, Johannesburg and Cape Town in the Middle East and Africa, Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal in Canada, and Cancun, Nassau and Playa del Carmen in the Caribbean and Latin America.  A complete list is available at cvent.com.

Cvent evaluated more than 11,000 cities worldwide to compile the seventh annual list based on factors such as accessibility of the destination and facilities, price, quality of facilities and services, personal safety and having a point of differentiation.
