Flights will begin May 1, 2026

Condor, a Germany-based carrier, will add service from Frankfurt to Barcelona, Budapest and Venice beginning May 1, 2026. The flights will depart daily from Frankfurt to the three European cities in the morning, afternoon and evening. The additions come after the introduction of nine European city destinations this year.

Peter Gerber, CEO, said the airline has successfully established itself on the market in recent months with the new city destinations from Frankfurt. Since then, he said, “we have been offering our guests an attractive product on our daily flights at optimal flight times for business and leisure travelers.” This has been well received, he said, “so it is a logical next step to offer further exciting metropolises like Barcelona, Budapest and Venice.”

The three new destinations will complement the existing city connections to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Paris, Milan, Rome, Vienna, Zurich and Prague in the 2026 summer timetable.

As part of the modernization of Condor’s short-haul fleet, according to the announcement, more of the new Airbus A320neo aircraft will be used on these flights. The planes will feature larger luggage compartments, WiFi options and “an interior that is optimized to meet customer requirements.”

All inter-European short-haul flights will have a two-class configuration: Business Class, where complimentary drinks and a snack are served, and Economy Class, where guests receive complimentary water and a sweet treat, as well as buy-onboard options.
