China was the country receiving the most requests for business visas – followed by India, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Japan, according to data from ItsEasy.com, a passport and visa expediting concierge company. The statistics are based on the visa service orders the company received from February to August of this year.
According to the report, over the past six months there has been a steady increase in China visa orders since International travel restrictions eased. China’s expanding trade opportunities, growth in technology and manufacturing, and the return of key business events have played a big role. In addition, the country’s push to attract foreign investment and strengthen global partnerships is drawing business travelers from all over.”
Similarly, according to the research, India’s growing economy and advancements in technology, along with its leadership in sectors like IT, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing, have brought in a lot of business traffic. In fact, business visas are the most in demand right now, with 85% of the applications being for business purposes and only 15% for tourism. “We’ve also noticed how India’s efforts to make doing business easier, attract more foreign investment, and push for a digital economy have really accelerated this trend,” said Antoinette Leon, vice president of ItsEasy.com Passport & Visa Services.
