British Airways Launching London City to Munich Service
Route will begin next February while frequency to other European cities will increase this year >>

British Airways will launch three-times-daily flights from London City Airport to Munich beginning Feb. 16, 2019; the carrier will then be offering four German routes from London City. In addition, British will add extra winter frequencies on its Berlin, Dublin and Prague routes beginning Nov. 10 of this year and to Geneva starting in December. Roundtrip flights will increase as follows: Berlin (to 18 weekly); Dublin (38) Prague (7) and Geneva (16). Luke Hayhoe, British Airways general manager commercial and customer, said the addition of Munich complements existing flights to Berlin, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt for a total of 82 roundtrip flights weekly to Germany from London City. The new route will increase the number of the airline’s destinations from London City Airport to 34.
