BCD Travel has begun servicing Airbus in its four European home markets: France, Germany, Spain and the UK. BCD already has existing partnerships with Airbus in Canada, China, India, and the US. BCD will provide Airbus, a leading aircraft manufacturer, “with a digital and flexible service approach to boost the travel experience for its employees,” according to an announcement. BCD will provide personalized, digital-first service in four languages through a virtual service platform, consisting of a dedicated team of travel agents, and BCD’s app TripSource. The team will service all 110,000 Airbus travelers in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, offering them extended support hours and better management of their travel itineraries with alerts and real-time messages through TripSource. “With this tailor-made platform, we’re contributing to the streamlining of Airbus’ business travel management processes,” said Lutz Nauert, senior vice president, global program management for Europe/Middle East/Africa at BCD Travel. “The virtual platform connects all four markets and guarantees the best possible experiences for all Airbus travelers.”
