Alaska Airlines will launch daily nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Aug. 18. The Ohio city becomes the 93rd nonstop destination served from Alaska’s hub in Seattle. Aside from connecting the two cities, the flights will make it convenient, according to the airline, for travelers to connect to dozens of destinations across the West Coast using Alaska’s Seattle hub. The flights will depart Seattle at 9:20 a.m. and arrive in Cincinnati at 4:50 p.m.; they will depart Cincinnati at 5:50 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 8 p.m. Brett Catlin, managing director of capacity planning and alliances for Alaska, said the carrier has been hearing from corporate clients for years that they‘d like a connection between Cincinnati and the Puget Sound region. He said that with the new service Alaska will be offering 350 daily departures from Seattle.
