Air Canada to Launch Vancouver-Orange County Route
Carrier will add daily nonstop service June 15 >>

Air Canada will launch nonstop service between Vancouver International Airport and John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif., beginning on June 15. Mark Galardo, vice president, network planning and alliances, said the new flights will conveniently link the increasing number of startup, technology and innovator businesses that both Vancouver and Southern California are home to. He said the flights will also offer a wide array of connections across Canada and to Australia and India. Bridgitte Anderson, president and CEO of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, said California is an increasingly important market for Greater Vancouver businesses. She said greater connectivity will provide the foundation for a deeper economic, social and cultural partnership to the benefit of both regions. Flights will depart Vancouver at 9 a.m. and arrive in Orange County at 11:59 a.m.; they will depart Orange County at 12:40 p.m. and arrive in Vancouver at 3:27 p.m.
