Air Canada announced three new US routes, including service from Toronto and Montreal to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Toronto to Sacramento as part of a trans-border summer schedule. For the summer of 2023, the carrier will also restore 13 trans-border services and increase frequencies on more than a dozen popular routes to the US in rebuilding its global network following the pandemic.
Mark Galardo, senior vice president of network planning and revenue management, said that next summer the airline will be operating more than 400 daily flights on 95 routes to 47 destinations in the US. He said the new routes to JFK will begin March 26 and Toronto-Sacramento in June.
With the new JFK service, according to an announcement, the carrier will be offering more than 3,500 seats on 39 daily flights from six Canadian cities into New York’s three major airports.
