Air Canada has opened a new Maple Leaf Lounge at St. John’s International Airport. It is located in the airport’s recently expanded departures area and offers visitors a panoramic view of Signal Hill and the Atlantic Ocean. Open from 4 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., the lounge accommodates up to 84 travelers and includes a self-service bar with a wide variety of beverages including Canadian wine, light snacks, and Lavazza coffee. A business center and cyber counter feature workstations and color printing, and the entire lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi. The St. John’s Airport Maple Leaf Lounge showcases Canadian design and artistry with maple wood screen walls, Canadian-designed and manufactured furniture, and art that reflects the Newfoundland and Labrador region.
