Yapta, a provider of airfare and hotel price tracking services, has launched its Intelligent Price Tracking services on the Amadeus GDS. As a result of the integration, corporations that use Amadeus as part of their global travel program are able to use Yapta’s FareIQ and RoomIQ solutions to capture savings at all points of sale. According to Yapta, its technology is used by more than 7,000 companies. FareIQ provides opportunities to re-book air tickets at lower prices while RoomIQ monitors hotel bookings whilet looking for rate reductions at the same hotel. Yapta has already integrated with Sabre and Travelport’s Apollo and plans to integrate with Travelport’s Galileo later this year. James Filsinger, president and CEO of Yapta, said the Amadeus footprint, particularly in the European market, is the largest of its kind and will enable thousands of companies to immediately use Yapta’s price assurance solutions.
