United Airlines has opened a new United Polaris lounge at Los Angeles International Airport. Open to customers traveling in Polaris business class, the facility is located in Terminal 7 between Gates 73 and 75A. The lounge is the most recent investment United has made at LAX, where the airline recently completed a $573 million renovation of Terminal 7. Encompassing more than 12,000 square feet, the lounge has 140 seats, 272 power outlets and 120 USB ports, shower suites, private daybeds and a restaurant developed by Los Angeles chef Tritia Gestuvo.The lounge also features cocktails inspired by the city. This is the fifth Polaris lounge; the others are in Chicago, Houston, Newark and San Francisco. In addition to the Polaris lounge, United recently opened a new United Club in Terminal 7.
