TravelPerk, a travel management platform, has launched TravelPerk Events to enable travel managers to arrange event-based business trips. The tool will enable the booking and managing of events from a single platform, according to an announcement, “solving the biggest pain of hybrid and remote working models: helping distributed teams get together in person.” Through TravelPerk Events, according to the announcement, planners will have a one-stop destination for simple events management, saving them time and allowing for more smoothly run events. Features include: invitations to participants; collaboration so the company can share details about attendees; communications to keep attendees updated; and visibility allowing viewing of attendee travel plans. The new offering comes after a year of growth for the Barcelona-based company, including the acquisition of  Click Travel in July and NexTravel in January.
