Travel and Transport, a TMC, and TripBAM have partnered to provide global hotel re-shopping and analytics for business travel programs. The agreement encompasses Travel and Transport’s wholly-owned locations in the US, UK, France, Germany and Switzerland. Dallas-based TripBAM is a hotel shopping, benchmarking and analytics service, using technology that re-shops existing hotel bookings to find cheaper rates or alternatives providing, said the company, an average saving of more than $100 per booking. Savings can be found at the original property booked, or by including nearby properties or “clusters.” TripBAM now has more than two dozen global TMC agreements. Michael Kubasic, CIO at Travel and Transport, said that as the company grows internationally, multi-country partnerships like this increase the solutions made available to global travel buyers to keep costs down.
