Mark Walton, a corporate travel industry veteran whose experience includes executive positions at Orbitz for Business and Options Travel, started Solutions Travel along with a group of industry investors, according to an announcement, “to help solve the complex problems that currently exist in the global travel industry.”
In an announcement, Walton said the company “wants to bring the most advanced travel technology, coupled with a strong service orientation, real-time data, direct content sources, and other integrated components to the corporate customers we serve.”
Solutions will use Spotnana’s entire Travel-as-a-Service Platform, including its online booking tool, agent desktop, booking engine, system of record and content engine.
Solutions Travel will focus on the small, mid-market, and even large segments. It offers a broad range of services from VIP, dedicated agents and designated agents — all available 24/7 in a multilingual environment.
