Serko, Ltd., a New Zealand-based online travel booking and expense management company for business, has launched a US base. Claiming to be the leading provider in the Australasia region, Serko says it has set its sights on the Northern Hemisphere, intending to operate on the same model that it does in its home base “by providing agile market developments, leading support services and state of the art travel and expense technology.” Darrin Grafton, CEO, said, “The market needs choice and we know that our technology platform, which handles small -to-medium-sized businesses through to multi-national companies for both travel and expense, will present a great choice for the U.S. market.” Serko has named Rich Miller as general manager of sales in the US. He was most recently general manager of nuTravel and spent more than 30 years at American Express Travel.
