Serko and FaceMe will unveil what the companies call the world’s first digital human (a realistic, visual representation of a human created by artificial intelligence) to be used for the booking of corporate travel at the GBTA Convention in Chicago this week.


Serko is a travel and expense technology company, while FaceMe creates “digital humans” designed to interact with consumers. The integration, specifically applied to the corporate travel and expense management industry, is the first of its type anywhere in the world and will give users a seamless “face to face”  conversational experience through a virtual customer service representative. FaceMe’s digital human will be integrated with Serko’s Zeno product, which processes up to 20,000 bookings per day, and manages around $4.5 billion of corporate travel expenditure every year. Zeno is an online booking tool that uses intelligent technology, predictive workflows and a global travel marketplace to create better business travel.
