Norwegian will launch four new routes from the US to Europe next year: New York City/JFK to Madrid (beginning July 18, 2018, three times weekly); Los Angeles to Madrid (July 16, 2018, four times weekly); New York/JFK to Amsterdam (May 7, 2018, four times weekly); and Los Angeles to Milan (June 18, 2018, four times weekly). Norwegian says it will be the only carrier operating year-round, nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Madrid and Milan. Norwegian, which launched 25 new routes from the US in 2017, now offers 61 nonstop transatlantic routes to 16 European destinations. Norwegian also announced it has acquired an additional 28 weekly slots at London Gatwick Airport, beginning next summer. The slots will allow Norwegian to plan for continued growth at Gatwick, including flights to the US.
