United Airlines announced that Sasha Johnson will become the company’s vice president of cooperate safety. She currently serves as the airline’s managing director of international regulatory and policy. Johnson will manage all aspects of worldwide aviation safety, ground safety, quality assurance, medical, workers compensation, managed care, business continuity, family assistance and emergency operations. Before joining United in 2015, Johnson worked for more than a decade at the Federal Aviation Administration and with the Department of Transportation.
Accelya Group has named Jim Davidson as chief product officer. He had been CEO of Farelogix, which was recently acquired by Accelya. A 25-year veteran of the travel industry, Davidson has been CEO of NTE, an inter-based supply chain technology company; and was also CEO of Amadeus Global Travel.
