Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has appointed Joon Aun Ooi as president, Asia-Pacific. Under a new regional structure, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Asia-Pacific will include more than 1,700 hotels in about 16 countries. Ooi has more than two decades of experience in hospitality and joined Wyndham in 2013 as vice president-openings and operations, Greater China.
Hertz Global Holdings has named Paul Stone as president and CEO. He joined Hertz in 2018 and was most recently executive vice president and chief retail operations officer, North America. Stone worked at Sam’s Club/Walmart for 28 years, moving up from store manager to divisional senior vice president.
