Marriott International announced the appointments of Carlson Ervin as global development officer, international, and Noah Silverman as global development officer, US and Canada. As global development officer, international, Ervin will oversee development outside the US and Canada. A 21-year veteran of the company, he most recently served as chief development officer, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Ervin played a pivotal role in the acquisition and European rollout of the AC by Marriott brand, the development of the Moxy brand in Europe and the integration of the Starwood Hotels and Resorts acquisition. Silverman most recently served as chief development officer, US and Canada full-service hotels, where he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development process for luxury and premium brands. A 24-year veteran of the company, Silverman played a crucial role in the acquisition and subsequent growth of the Delta by Marriott Hotels and Gaylord Hotels brands and the acquisition of Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

Delta Air Lines named Keyra Lynn Johnson to vice president and chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer; and Amelia DeLuca as managing director of sustainability. Both are new positions. Johnson is a 25-year Delta veteran who has led the carrier’s diversity and inclusion efforts over the past few years. DeLuca has worked with Delta for 15 years in various sales, revenue management and network planning positions.
