Marriott International has named Jim Scholefield as chief information and digital officer. He was most recently chief information and digital officer at Merck & Co. and prior to that was CIO for Nike.





GabrielSix Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has named Bryan Gabriel as chief commercial officer, to oversee sales and marketing. He had been head of commercial for America for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), He has worked at IHG for 15 years.




SchmittEurowings has named Oliver Schmitt as chief commercial officer. He is currently vice president-sales and managing director of Eurowings Digital. He has also worked at mobile communications provider Telefonica O2 Germany.




KirbyMartinHEI Hotels + Resorts, a hospitality investment and management company, has named Ginger Martin and Pam Kirby as vice presidents. Martin, with more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, has been regional vice president of operations. She had previously held several hotel executive positions with Starwood. Kirby joined HEI in 2015 as vice president of ownership services and analytics. Prior to that she held several executive positions with Interstate Hotels and Crestline Hotels + Resorts.
