American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has appointed Jason Geall as senior vice president for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. In his new role, he will expand his current responsibilities for the UK and northern Europe to oversee the entire EMEA commercial operation. Before joining GBT more than five years ago, Geall was CEO of The Student Room Group, an online platform. Prior to that, he was with GetThere and Eurostar.


Westjet has named John Weatherill as chief commercial officer. He joined the carrier in 2013 and has served in several roles, including vice president of network planning and alliances and vice president of pricing and revenue management.


Radisson Hotel Group has appointed Tanya Taylor as executive vice president and general counsel. She most recently served as general counsel and head of legal and business affairs for Yonder Media Mobile, a telecommunications and mobile startup. Taylor has also served as general counsel for Millennium Hotels & Resorts and for the Wyndham Hotel Group.


The Broadmoor, the Colorado Springs resort, has named Scott Flexman as vice president of sales and marketing. He will oversee all sales and marketing efforts for The Broadmoor, The Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway and the Wilderness Experience portfolio. Flexman has over 37 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Most recently, he was complex director of sales and marketing, Caribe Royale Orlando/Buena Vista Suites. Prior to that, he worked at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, Landsdowne Resort in northern Virginia and Boca Raton Resort & Club. His management experience includes 16 years in various management positions with Stouffer and Renaissance Hotels.
