Appointments and promotions at Yotel, Rosewood Hotel Group, OAG, Teneo Hospitality Group and Choice Hotels
Yotel has appointed Lisa Bovio as chief commercial officer for the company’s three brands – Yotel, Yotelair and Yotelpad. She will have global responsibility for sales, revenue and distribution, e-commerce, and brand and marketing communications. Bovio has held various senior sales and marketing management positions in the travel industry.
Rosewood Hotel Group has named Jennifer Jones as director of global sales and George Tanzman as vice president of finance, Americas and Europe. Jones will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities and initiatives for driving revenue through corporate and group bookings in the eastern US and Canadian markets. She has over 20 years of sales experience in the luxury hospitality industry, most recently serving as group sales manager for Four Seasons Resort & Residences Anguilla. Tanzman will be responsible for providing analysis and direction on hotel operator performance and for managing all aspects of corporate and property finance for all existing and upcoming hotel properties. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the financial sector of the luxury hospitality industry. Most recently, Tanzman was CFO for Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas.
OAG has named Vipul Nakum as chief product officer. He brings more than 25 years of experience working in B2B information, analytics and media businesses. Most recently he advised private and private-equity-backed companies on product strategy and mergers and acquisitions. He has also served as head of product development at Reed Business Information.
Teneo Hospitality Group, which represents more than 300 independent and luxury brand hotels, resorts and DMCs, has named Jennifer Milliron as director of sales for the Southwest, responsible for markets in Colorado, Utah, Texas and Arizona. Milliron was previously global account director for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a position she held for 13 years.
Choice Hotels has promoted Brian Kirkland to chief technology officer, overseeing the company’s overall information technology strategy, development and operations. He has been with Choice since 2015, most recently as vice president of engineering. Prior to joining Choice, Kirkland worked at GoDaddy and Media Temple.
