American Airlines has promoted Meghan Montana to vice president and treasurer, responsible for corporate finance, global banking, cash management and more. She joined the airline in 2018 as managing director and assistant treasurer.  She has been instrumental in American’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping arrange more than $20 billion in financing this year to strengthen American’s financial position.

British Airways has appointed Carrie Harris as head of sustainability. She joins the airline from its parent company, International Airlines Group (IAG), where she has been group sustainability manager for the past five years. Last year Harris helped launch IAG’s Flightpath Net Zero, committing the group to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050, a global first for an airline group, according to an announcement.

Charlestowne Hotels has named Matt Barba as vice president of operations. He brings nearly 30 years of experience to the role, with the last decade dedicated to expanding recognition for Charlestowne’s growing portfolio of 50 hotels. Most recently, he served as regional director of operations and has managed multiple priorities.
