Organizational announcements from Boeing, Hilton and Wyndham Hotel Group

Boeing has named Kevin G. McAllister president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, succeeding Ray Conner, who is retiring from that position, but will continue in the role of vice chairman through 2017. McAllister joins Boeing after 27 years with GE Aviation, where he served since 2014 as president and CEO of GE Aviation Services.
In addition, the company has announced the creation of Boeing Global Services, a new business unit to be formed from the customer services groups within the company's existing commercial airplanes and defense, space and security business units. Boeing Global Services is slated to be fully operational as the company's third major business unit by the third quarter of 2017.
Heading up the unit as president and CEO is veteran Boeing executive Stanley A. Deal. Since 2014 Deal has served as SVP of Boeing's Commercial Aviation Services business, and previously was VP and general manager of Supply Chain Management and Operations for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
Hilton has appointed Katie Beirne Fallon as senior vice president and global head of corporate affairs. She previously served as a senior advisor at the White House and a top aide in the US Senate.
Fallon most recently was director of legislative affairs at the White House for President Obama and prior to that served as deputy communications director. Previously she held was an aide to Sen. Charles Schumer. Before entering politics, Fallon worked in investment banking and strategic consulting.
Wyndham Hotel Group has announced two new appointments in the Europe, Middle East, Eurasia and Africa (EMEA) leadership team. Patrick Divall has been named regional vice president, Western Europe, and Ignace Bauwens has been appointed regional vice president, Middle East and Africa.
Divall joins the company from Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he was most recently the regional director of finance, Western Europe. Bauwens most recently served as managing director for BLH bvba Hospitality Consultancy and as CEO of Abu Dhabi National Hotels. He has also held senior operations roles at Accor and InterContinental Hotels Group.
