Huntsville, Ala. — The 115-room 106 Jefferson, a Curio Collection by Hilton hotel, has opened on the site of the former Huntsville Hotel in walking distance of downtown and 13 miles from Huntsville International Airport. The property features a restaurant, rooftop lounge, a fitness center and 2,110 square feet of event space. Rooms feature 55-inch TVs, Keurig coffee makers and mini-fridges.

New York — Hyatt Centric 39th & 5th has opened with 162 rooms, each with free WiFi, 55-inch HDTVs and rainfall showerheads. Amenities include a health club, 24-hour Lobby Market and, in the few next months, a restaurant and a barista bar. There is also a 10-person boardroom.

Alpharetta, Ga. — The Hamilton Curio Collection by Hilton has opened with two restaurants and 3,000 square feet of indoor and patio meeting space. The 119-room property offers rooms with oversize HDTVs and complimentary WiFi.

Charlotte, N.C. — JW Marriott Charlotte has opened with 381 rooms in the city’s Uptown neighborhood. The property offers multiple dining outlets, 22,000 square feet of meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, a spa and a rooftop bar.

New Orleans — The Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans has opened at the foot of Canal Street, 20 minutes from both of the city’s airports and near the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. The 341-room property has several restaurants, a rooftop pool (to open in the fall), 24/7 fitness center and 29,000 square feet of event space.
