Nara, Japan – The JW Marriott Nara has opened, the 800th Marriott property in Asia/Pacific and the first JW Marriott in Japan. The 158-room hotel has several restaurants, 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, ballroom and four additional meeting rooms. The hotel is connected to a convention center, the largest in the city.
Amsterdam – Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam-North Riverside has opened as the brand’s largest property in Europe. The hotel is a 25-minute drive from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and a 10-minute drive from Amsterdam Central Station. The 438-room property has rooms with flexible workspaces, flat screen TV’s, ergonomically designed chairs and ample USB ports and plug sockets next to the bed. Greenville, S.C. – The 126-room Cambria Hotel Greenville has opened, a 15-minute drive from Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. Chicago – The 210-suite, dual-branded Hyatt House (107 rooms) and Hyatt Place Chicago (103 rooms) Medical/University District has opened in what was Cook County Hospital. The hotels are part of a $1 billion multi-phase plan that features over 4,000 square feet of meeting space, open concept public spaces, a 24-hour fitness center, a food hall and more. Both hotels offer free WiFi.
