Niamey, Niger – The 189-room Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Center Niamey has opened. It offers eight meeting rooms and a dedicated conference center accommodating events of up to 2,500 people. The property has several restaurants, as well as a lobby lounge and a rooftop lounge There is a spa and an outdoor pool.
Chicago – Hyatt House Chicago/West Loop – Fulton Market has opened between the city’s West Loop and Fulton Market, a hub for corporate campuses. The hotel has 200 rooms, 67 of them suites. There are a number of rooms with full kitchens and ingredients for cooking available in the 24-hour market in the lobby. There is an indoor pool, a bar and meeting space.
Collierville, Tenn. – The 110-room Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Memphis Collierville has opened about 20 minutes from Memphis International Airport and with easy highway access to Memphis. Each room has a 55-inch HDTV with an interactive guide and streaming capabilities for various entertainment services. Amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, and free WiFi and breakfast.
Toledo, Ohio – Courtyard by Marriott Toledo West has opened with 118 rooms, each equipped with in-room entertainment technology that allows streaming of TV and movies. The brand’s latest lobby design offers an open environment for working or relaxing, as well as The Bistro offering all-day snacks and drinks. There is also a business library.
Charleston, S.C. – Cambria Hotel Charleston Riverview has opened with 126 rooms and views of the nearby Ashley River. It offers a restaurant serving regional food and local craft beer, multi-function meeting space, fitness center, outdoor pool, complimentary parking and shuttle service to locations within five miles.
San Francisco – The 155-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton San Francisco Airport North has opened as what the brand calls the first hotel built through modular construction in the history of the Bay Area. The property features free WiFi and breakfast, Spin2 Cycle combined laundry and fitness area and Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items. Solar panels produce close to 50 percent of the hotel's energy and a bio-retention pond filters water runoff to reduce the property’s carbon footprint.
