Stratford-upon-Avon – IHG has announced the opening of Hotel Indigo in the historic market town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare. The Grade 1 Listed façade dates back to the 16th Century and was originally a public house. More recently, the building has been extended to include a new contemporary wing from the 1960s.
The property offers 93 guest rooms which reflect Stratford's history, which stretches back to medieval times. The hotel features a restaurant and bar that serves breakfast by day, and by night transforms into a private dining room. All guest rooms are fitted with Hypnos beds, a 40-inch flat screen TV and IHG Connect, IHG's seamless internet.
