Winnipeg, Manitoba – The 122-suite Residence Inn Winnipeg has opened adjoining an existing Fairfield Inn & Suites, making it what the operators call the first dual-branded property in the city. Located less than a mile from the airport and 10 minutes from downtown, the hotel offers studio and one-bedroom suites. Designed for stays of five nights or more, each suite has a full kitchen. The hotel offers free breakfast and WiFi, 24-hour food and beverage market and onsite laundry room. It also has a business library, an indoor waterpark, 3,000 square feet of meeting space and a fitness center.

Medan, Indonesia – Radisson Medan has opened in downtown Medan, near a number of corporate offices. The 215-room property  has two floors of function space (16,145 square feet), free WiFi, LCD TVs with cable channels and working areas with international power sockets. There is a business center, fitness center, outdoor pool, restaurant and lobby lounge.

Knoxville, Tenn. – The 144-room Courtyard by Marriott and 88-suite Residence Inn by Marriott have opened as a dual-branded hotel in downtown Knoxville. They will share a fitness center, a terrace with a fire pit and barbecue grills and 784 square feet of meeting space.  Upon arrival at the Courtyard, guests can store bags on the Luggage Drop and plug personal devices into the Tech Drop ledge for technology integration. It also offers the Refreshing Business lobby for working and relaxing, as well as The Bistro for dining. The Residence Inn has one and two-bedroom suites, free breakfast and WiFi, food and beverage market and guest laundry room.

Zionsville, Ind. – WoodSpring Suites Indianapolis-Zionsville has opened with 122 rooms near several major corporate offices. Each room has a kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator. Other amenities include an expanded lobby with a coffee station, guest laundry room, fitness center and free WiFi.

Miami – The 150-room DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Doral has opened in the heart of Doral’s business district and nine miles from Miami International Airport. It offers an outdoor pool with terrace and bar, free WiFi, satellite TV, fitness center, free shuttle within a five-mile radius, a restaurant and lounge, a grab-and-go market and more than 1,700 square feet of meeting space.

Lubbock, Texas – The 98-room Tru by Hilton Lubbock Southwest has opened. Rooms feature mobile desks and large bathrooms. Amenities include free breakfast and WiFi, a large lobby with separate areas for working and relaxing, a 24/7 “Eat & Sip” market and a fitness center.
