London — The 225-room Hyatt Regency London Stratford and the 127-room Hyatt House London Stratford have opened in Westfield Stratford City, a shopping and entertainment complex minutes from Stratford Station and Stratford International Station. The Hyatt House has rooms with fully equipped kitchens and flexible workspaces. Amenities include free WiFi and breakfast, a 24-hour laundry and a gym. The Hyatt Regency has over 3,000 square feet of meeting space. Guests at both hotels have direct access to an on-property restaurant.
Melbourne, Australia — The 252-room Voco Melbourne Central has opened as part of a new skyscraper. The hotel offers a restaurant and bar and event space for up to 90 people.
San Jose, Calif. — The 194-suite Element by Westin Milpitas San Jose hotel has opened, a 10-minute drive from the airport and from downtown. Amenities include a restaurant, fitness center, free coffee and tea and over 9,000 square feet of event space.
Cambridge, England — The Holiday Inn Express Cambridge West-Cambourne has opened between the city of Cambridge and Cambourne Business Park. The 146th Holiday Inn Express in the UK, the hotel has 144 rooms, each with blackout curtains, free WiFi, flexible workspace, flat-screen TV with streaming capability, ergonomic chairs and ample USB ports and plug sockets next to the bed. Amenities include free breakfast, 16 private meeting rooms and working areas within the lobby.
Istanbul — Royan Hotel Hagia Sophia Istanbul, a member of Radisson Individuals, has opened with 49 rooms in the Sultanahmet area. It offers free high-speed WiFi and two restaurants. Radisson Individuals is a collection of independent hotels within the Radisson group.
São Paulo — JW Marriott Hotel São Paulo has opened with 255 rooms and suites. The hotel offers a restaurant, bar, spa and a convention center with more than 10,000 square feet of event space.
