Dhaka, Bangladesh – Holiday Inn Dhaka City Center has opened, the first for the brand in the country. Located a short walk from major public transport and commercial districts, the 187-room property has been designed around the concept of “central living,” allowing for a more centralized space for relaxing and casual working. For those travelling for business, Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre has a dedicated business center, meeting spaces with daylight that can accommodate up to 100 people, and secure parking. Chamblee, Ga. – Holiday Inn & Suites Atlanta Perimeter-Dunwoody has opened with 143 rooms, each equipped with IHG Studio, allowing guests to stream shows from their personal devices on the flatscreen TV. Amenities include a rooftop bar and restaurant; and 4,500 square feet of meeting space.
Jinzhou, China – The 214-room Hilton Garden Inn Jinzhou Central Street has opened in the city’s central district. Amenities include a restaurant, free WiFi, a fitness center and 5,770 square feet of meeting space. Karaka, New Zealand – The 122-room DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka has opened about 15 miles from Auckland and a short distance from Auckland Airport. The property offers a restaurant, lobby bar, outdoor heated pool and a gym. There is meeting space for up to 180 guests.
New Orleans – The 176-room Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown has opened in the historic former Oil and Gas Building, built in 1959. The hotel features 1,700 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant, a transfer lounge for guests arriving early or leaving late and free bikes.
