Muscat, Oman — The 282-room Mövenpick Hotel & Apartments Ghala Muscat has opened in a central city location in Ghala Heights, near the airport and the convention center. The apartments are fully serviced and provide access to all hotel facilities. They cater, according to an announcement, to the growing number of long-stay guests making Muscat their home. Amenities include a spa and fitness center, meeting space for up to 570 guests and several restaurants.
Doswell, Va. — The 50-room Best Western Doswell Hotel has opened about 20 miles north of Richmond. Each room offers a 50-inch TV, mini-fridge and microwave. Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, free breakfast and WiFi, an outdoor pool and guest laundry.
Austin — Atwell Suites Austin Airport has opened; it is the first for the brand in Texas and the third in the country. The hotel, located near the airport and less than 20 minutes from downtown, offers free breakfast and WiFi, a 24/7 refreshment stand featuring coffee and water, an evening small plate reception and a shared TV lounge.
Livingston, Calif. — The SureStay by Best Western Livingston Merced County has opened with 76 rooms, each with a flat-screen TV, microwave and mini-fridge. The hotel offers free breakfast and WiFi, and a guest laundry.
Brooklyn, N.Y. — Tru by Hilton Brooklyn has opened with 110 rooms a short walk from the Barclays Center arena. The property offers free breakfast and WiFi; and a 24/7 market with snacks, beverages and travel essentials.
Bengaluru, India — DoubleTree by Hilton Bengaluru Whitefield has opened with 180 rooms. The property offers three dining venues, a 24-hour fitness center, a rooftop pool and extensive meeting space, including a ballroom accommodating 200 people.
