Austin – Best Western Plus Executive Residency Austin has opened. The dual-branded property features 39 Executive Residency by Best Western rooms, all with kitchenettes; and 47 Best Western Plus rooms. There is an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, 24-hour fitness facility, and free breakfast and WiFi.
Dundee, Scotland – Staybridge Suites Dundee has opened, the first for the brand in the country and located in the city center. The hotel, built within an abandoned linen mill, has 85 one-bedroom and studio suites. Amenities include free WiFi, The Pantry shop for food, free laundry, 24-hour fitness center, complimentary breakfast and three-times-weekly evening socials.
Chicago – The 206-suite Home2 Suites by Hilton Chicago River North has opened, the 300th location for the brand. Rooms feature full kitchens and modular furniture. Amenities include free WiFi, Spin2 Cycle combined laundry and fitness area, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items and free breakfast.
San Francisco – Virgin Hotels San Francisco has opened, the second for the brand. Located near the Moscone Center, the 192-room property has multiple dining and drinking outlets, including the brand’s flagship spaces, Commons Club and Funny Library Coffee Shop. There are numerous meeting spaces and a rooftop bar.
Munich – Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor has opened, the first for the brand in Germany. The 277-room hotel has a restaurant called The Lonely Broccoli, featuring Bavarian food; a rooftop bar; a spa; a pool and gym; and more than 21,530 square feet of meeting space.
Paris – Innside Charles de Gaulle has opened at the airport with 266 rooms and 10 lofts. Features include a restaurant and lounge, four meeting rooms with ping-pong tables, breakout areas and free snacks and a 24-hour gym. Rooms have coffee machines and complimentary minibars; there are refrigerators in Superior+ rooms.
