Gebze, Turkey – The Hyatt House Gebze has opened, the first for the brand in that country. Located 10 miles from Sabiha Gokcen International Airport and less than 40 miles from Istanbul, the 158-room, extended stay hotel features full kitchens in all rooms. Other features include the H Bar, the H Market for grab-and-go items, 24-hour workout room, indoor pool, free WiFi, and more than 1,055 square feet of meeting space.
Seoul – Le Meridien Seoul has opened, the brand’s first hotel in Korea. The 336-room hotel is located at the center of the Gangham district, a short walk from main subway stations and 60 minutes’ drive from Incheon International Airport. It offers Le Meridien Hub, a lobby space that evolves from a coffee house by day to a cocktail bar at night; a large art gallery called M Contemporary Art Centre; and four culinary venues.
Prineville, OR – Country Inn & Suites by Carlson Prineville has opened with 63 rooms and suites, an indoor pool, business center, free WiFi and breakfast, and 744 square feet of meeting space for up to 50 people.
Birmingham, AL – Hilton Garden Inn & Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown has opened as a dual-branded property with a combined 210 rooms. The property houses the Garden Grille restaurant and bar, Spin2Cycle laundry and fitness center and an outdoor pool. The hotel is near several downtown attractions including the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Santos, Brazil – Park Inn by Radisson Santos has opened, near the Vila Belmiro Stadium and Mendes Convention Center. The 241-room hotel offers free WiFi, a fitness center, an outdoor pool and sauna, and complimentary breakfast. There is an onsite restaurant and 24-hour room service. There are three meeting rooms for up to 50 people.
