Denver — The 264-room Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver has opened in the heart of downtown near the Colorado Convention Center. The property features a restaurant, rooftop terrace and a 24-hour fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows providing views of the city. Amenities include a lobby with areas to work, meet, eat and relax; fresh coffee service; and a lobby market for grab-and-go items.

New York — Thompson Central Park New York has opened with 587 rooms in the former space of the Parker New York and two blocks from the park. In 2022, the property will offer the 174-room Upper Stories, with extra amenities, expansive views and access to the Upper Stories Lounge. The hotel offers a restaurant, lobby bar, free WiFi and fitness center.

New York — WhyHotel has opened at the corner of Front and Wall Street in the city’s financial district. Located in a former office building, the property features just over 200 units and amenities such as a seventh-floor terrace with outdoor grill and kitchen, fitness center with a spin studio, guest laundry room with pingpong and pool tables and community kitchens. WhyHotel will operate the building as a mix of short-term guest stays and longer-term resident leases.

Mexico City — The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City has opened in a central location along the Paseo de Reforma. Occupying a 58-story building, the 153-room property offers a Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge with a club concierge; a heated indoor pool; a large fitness center; and a spa. There is a restaurant on the 38th floor and 4,300 square feet of meeting space with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Chapultepec Park.

Charleston, S.C. — The Loutrel, a 50-room hotel, has opened in the historic district. Managed by Charlestowne Hotels, the property features a private Clubroom reserved for guests serving snacks and light fare, a restaurant, a rooftop terrace and a fitness studio.

Macon, Ga. — Avid Hotel Macon North has opened about an hour from Atlanta. It offers free WiFi, grab-and-go breakfast, 24-hour coffee and fitness center. Rooms feature work desks, blackout roller shades and sound-reducing headboards.

Nagasaki, Japan — The 200-room Hilton Nagasaki has opened to the west of Nagasaki Station. The hotel features an executive lounge for guests staying on executive floors, flexible banquet spaces, a fitness center, several restaurants and a lounge/bar.
