Nashville — The 506-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville downtown has opened, the largest for the brand in the US. Located adjacent to Music City Convention Center, the 30-story property has over 32,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. The hotel has several food and beverage outlets, including a coffee bar, a bar on the 30th floor, a restaurant to open early next year and a room that serves breakfast in the morning and is a bar/music venue in the evening. Charleston, S.C. — Mills House Charleston, Curio Collection by Hilton has opened after a complete renovation of the historic Mills House and conversion to a lifestyle hotel. It is the first Curio Collection property in the state. The hotel has multiple food and beverage venues, including a rooftop bar and more than 15,000 square feet of event space. It is located on the corner of Queen and Meeting Streets in the historic downtown.
Brooklyn, N.Y. — The 67-room Best Western Plus Brooklyn-Prospect Park has opened. Rooms feature 55-inch flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges and coffee makers. Amenities include free WiFi and breakfast, a 24-hour fitness center and a business center.
Los Angeles — Hotel Per La Los Angeles has opened with 241 rooms and 10,000 square feet of event space in a historic building that once housed a bank. The property offers several restaurants and bars. Rooms feature Tivoli Bluetooth radio clocks and large flat-screen TVs.
Kinabalu, Malaysia — The 222-room Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu has opened in the heart of the city’s dining and entertainment district near the Sabah International Convention Center and a 15-minute drive from the airport. The property has a rooftop bar and restaurant and an infinity pool. Rooms feature oversized ergonomic workspaces and 55-inch TVs with streaming capabilities. There is 3,154 square feet of function space with seven meeting rooms located on the third floor.
