Atlanta — The 282-room Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Midtown and Element by Westin Atlanta Midtown has opened — the first-ever combination of the two brands under one roof. The hotels, with a combined 282 rooms, offer a total of 3,000 square feet of meeting space. The 158-room Courtyard by Marriott offers breakfast and dinner at the Bistro. The 124-room Element by Westin features a 24-hour pantry, free breakfast and a restaurant. Element Studio Commons caters to groups looking to spend time together in a more private setting while still enjoying all the benefits of a hotel room. Anchored by four private bedrooms, guests can cook, collaborate and relax together in a shared kitchen and living room area.
Anderson S.C. — Home2 Suites by Hilton Anderson Downtown has opened, offering all-suite accommodations with full kitchens and modular furniture. The hotel features free WiFi and breakfast, Spin 2 Cycle combined laundry and fitness area, Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items, a pool and outdoor spaces.
Beijing — Hyatt Place Beijing Shiyuan has opened with 136 rooms in the city’s Yangquing district, 60 minutes from downtown by car and 30 minutes by high-speed train. The property offers free WiFi, 24-hour food options, a fitness center and 3,983 square feet of event space.
Los Angeles — The Shay, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel, has opened in the Culver City district. The 148-room hotel has two restaurants, a rooftop pool and more than 8,000 square feet of meeting space.
Paris — The 250-room Holiday Inn Paris-CDG Airport has opened a 10-minute free shuttle ride from Charles de Gaulle International Airport and a 30-minute train ride from central Paris. The hotel features an “open lobby “ concept, with the reception area, restaurant bar and lounge in one space; 8,073 square feet of meeting space; a gym; and extensive parking.
Nashville — W Nashville has opened with 286 rooms and 60 suites in a 14-story mirrored tower with six street-level entrances. The property features a coffee shop, two destination restaurants, several bars, a large pool deck and over 24,000 square feet of meeting space.
