JetBlue Airways will offer “near-hourly” flights between Boston and both New York and Washington DC. The carrier will adjust its schedule to offer the stepped-up service linking Boston Logan International Airport with one of New York City’s three airports, John F. Kennedy International, LaGuardia, or Newark Liberty. The flights will operate starting at 5:30 a.m. and continue until 10 p.m. JetBlue will add four additional flights linking Boston and Ronald Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, creating near-hourly weekday service starting at 6 a.m. and continuing until 9:30 p.m. Boston-bound flights will depart at the top of the hour. The changes to create a shuttle-like schedule will be phased in starting this summer. Also starting this summer, JetBlue will ramp up service from Boston with increased frequencies to Austin, Charleston, Chicago O’Hare, Cleveland, Detroit, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham and Savannah.
