Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced the organization of a new dedicated lifestyle division, which brings together the lifestyle brands of Hyatt and the former Two Roads Hospitality, including Andaz, Alila, Hyatt Centric, Joie de Vivre Hotels, Thompson Hotels and tommie. (Hyatt acquired Two Roads in 2018.) Frederic Flageat-Simon, former CEO of Two Roads Hospitality Asia, will be responsible for developing the global operations strategy for the new division,u while Heather Geisler, vice president of global brands, will focus on driving global brand awareness around the lifestyle brands. Mark Vondrasek, chief commercial officer for Hyatt, said the division will enable the company to dive deeper into guests’ preferences and further carve out Hyatt’s role in the segment. The integration of Two Roads into Hyatt continues. Recently former Two Roads brands Thompson Hotels and Joie de Vivre were integrated into the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
