HRS, the hotel solutions provider, is expanding its “MeWork” initiative worldwide, providing corporations and their employees worldwide access to daytime use (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) of hotel rooms.  Using its technology and hotel relationships, according to HRS, the company is reacting to the needs of companies navigating the pandemic by arranging hotel rooms as quiet places to work during the day. The “MeWork” program sources hotels offering daytime room rates at no charge. (The room rate is usually the same as an overnight rate.) The initiative, said HRS, dovetails with hoteliers who are increasingly open to daytime room bookings because of dramatically lower occupancies. Those interested in providing employees with this option should write to MeWork@hrs.com. They do not need to be HRS clients. Companies should include the number of rooms they seek in each location, and any special workplace requirements beyond a desk and WiFi.
