Hahn Air, a German carrier that has long offered indirect distribution services to other airlines, announced that it is now offering Res 360, a cloud-based passenger service system (PSS). According to the company, this will allow airlines looking to enter the world of indirect distribution to obtain all essential components from a single source. To deliver the PSS solution, Hahn Air is partnering with technology service provider InteliSys Aviation. Alexander Proschka, executive vice president-commercial at Hahn Air, said that for any airline, “the PSS is at the heart of airline distribution.” He said it is only a natural step for Hahn Air to offer this component as part of its distribution package. With Res360, according to the announcement, airlines benefit from a one-stop solution with Hahn Air’s service combining with the technology powered by InteliSys. Res360 is 100% cloud-based and allows airlines of any size and business model to connect to all sales channels. Whether airlines obtain bookings through their website, GDSs, direct connections with travel resellers or OTAs, travel management companies, metasearch engines, call centers or mobile apps, the API architecture of Res360 enables airlines to centrally manage flight distribution through one sales hub.
