Eurostar has become the first railroad operator to become part of Travelport’s merchandising solution, Rich Content and Branding.  Under a new arrangement, Travelport will connect Eurostar to over 68,000 online and offline travel agencies and travel management companies worldwide. Travelport will also deliver to agents a “graphically rich” experience when searching for and booking Eurostar branded fares and seats, according to the companies. Launched in 2014, Rich Content and Branding, according to Travelport, currently allows over 260 network airlines and low-cost carriers to differentiate themselves through “strong visuals and detailed description of their products and services.” Eurostar offers high-speed rail service between the UK and mainland Europe, providing direct service to Paris, Brussels, Calais, Lille, Lyon, Avignon, Marseille and the French Alps.
