Emirates has opened a new lounge at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport. All Emirates’ First Class and Business Class customers, as well as Skywards Platinum and Gold members traveling on the airline’s two flights a day from Rome to Dubai, will have complimentary access to the new facility, which replaces the old lounge and is in a more convenient area of the airport terminal. The lounge is situated in departure Terminal 3, Level 2, close to gates E22-E24. Its new location offers views over the runway, as well as a direct boarding facility onto the aircraft. It has nearly 10,225 square feet of floor space and seats 162 customers. Emirates Skywards Silver and Skywards Blue customers can enjoy the lounge with paid access. Amenities include LED TVs, leather armchairs, a dining area, a prayer room, shower facilities and business center. There is a complimentary hot and cold buffet, as well as a selection of wines and beverages.
