Emirates has joined the Worldwide by Easyjet connections service, which allows passengers to book connections from Easyjet flights onto long-haul flights with member airlines on easyjet.com. For Emirates, the Worldwide service will initially only connect London Gatwick with Dubai on Easyjet-Emirates journeys, but more gateways and destinations are planned. Worldwide by Easyjet was launched in 2017 with Norwegian and Westjet at Gatwick. It has since added partners, including Corsair, La Compagnie, Loganair, Thomas Cook, and most recently Singapore Airlines and Singapore’s low-cost subsidiary, Scoot. The service has a two-and-a-half-hour minimum connecting time, and flights are not held for connecting passengers; passengers who miss a connecting flight are transferred to the next available service. Easyjet’s European connection hubs include Amsterdam, Barcelona, Paris CDG and Orly, London Gatwick, Milan Malpensa, Berlin Tegel and Venice Marco Polo. The airline plans to announce more partners in the coming months, while also expanding the service to other European airports.
