Dinova, the proprietary marketplace connecting business diners to restaurants, has passed the 16,000- restaurant mark with the addition of Jersey Mike’s, which has more than 1,500 locations open and under development in the US. According to the company, Dinova claims to influence more than $7 billion annually in business meals and entertainment expenses through its program of rebates to companies. Participating companies range from millions of small- to medium-sized businesses to hundreds of Fortune 1000 enterprises, according to the company. Alison Galik, president of Dinova, said business diners “do more than wine and dine clients; they are also packing up sandwiches for team meetings, grabbing a bite between site visits and getting something to eat on their way to and from the airport.” Rich Hope, CMO for Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, said that franchise owners will appreciate the incremental sales and that the program provides opportunities to introduce the chain’s catering expertise to companies across the country.
