DigiTravel Consulting, a corporate travel consultancy, has added to its global team and expanded its geographical reach with the addition of consultants in the US, Canada and India/Asia. The company also announced that Greeley Koch, former head of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), has become a managing partner; he joined DigiTravel in 2020. The new consultants include Jyothi Varma as vice president of India; John Pease as vice president of the aviation group and leader in Canada; and Scott Thompson as vice president of the lodging practice. Varma previously led the ACTE operation in India; Pease had been an executive with WestJet Airlines; and Thompson had worked for several major chains, including Omni and Hilton. These steps, according to an announcement, are being taken to support a resurgent business travel industry. Susan Lichtenstein, managing partner, said the company has expanded its network globally to meet the needs of clients. She added, “We act as the bridge between the travel leaders and suppliers by bringing next-generation consulting services to the global business travel industry.”
